Opening the game to every young person

Reading Rugby Foundation supports schools and community organisations across Reading and the surrounding area by funding rugby equipment, taster sessions and inclusive development projects.

Our impact so far

  • £120,000+ raised in recent years. 

  • 4+ secondary schools equipped with full training kits.

  • 6+ rugby taster events delivered. 

  • 120 girls from 19 schools at our Wokingham Festival.

What we fund

We focus on practical support that removes barriers to participation

School Equipment Grants

 

We fund complete rugby training packages including balls, tackle shields, tags, bibs and markers.

Rugby Taster Days

 

We support didi rugby and tag rugby festivals in schools and community settings, helping young people experience the game for the first time.

Inclusive & Community Facilities

 

We invest in projects that strengthen the rugby community, including facilities supporting mixed ability rugby and junior participation
